A rather bizarre scene occurred in Belgium’s pre-match press conference that featured Eden Hazard on Tuesday.
During the presser, the Real Madrid winger was accused of gaining weight by an Egyptian reporter.
The journalist told him: “I have noticed that you have gained weight.”
To this, a perplexed Hazard responded: “I don’t have much to say about that. Except it’s not true. I’ll do anything to be ready.”
According to Belgian outlet Nieuwsblad, the same reporter proceeded to ask Hazard for a selfie after the press conference was over.
Unsurprisingly, the Madrid winger turned down the request as he was understandably angry at the insulting accusation.
