“Real Madrid is the biggest club in the world, so who knows… maybe one day I can play there. I would like to, yes,” Josko Gvardiol has told the media, via Relevo.
“Luka [Modric] doesn’t have to tell me anything about Real Madrid, it’s not necessary. I already know everything, I know it’s the biggest club in the world and how important it is to be linked to a team like that,” the Croatian added.
Gvardiol is one of the most promising defenders in the world these days. The 20-year-old could play as a left-back or a centre-back.
According to some sources, the RB Leipzig player has a €50m release clause in his current deal with the Red Bulls.
Chelsea are said to be heavily linked to the player.
